RECOMMENDED FILLING INSTRUCTIONS FOR HYDRAULIC
RESERVIORS
When filling or checking the oil level, the unit should
be parked on a level surface., shut ”OFF”, and allow
sufficient time to cool to ambient temperature. Use
caution when removing the pressurized breather.
Do not place face over opening when removing
breather.
If your reservior has two sight glasses: The
reservior should be filled to the top of the lower
sight glass on the side of the tank. Do not over-fill.
The reservoir has been over-filled when oil is visible
in the upper sight glass. If tank has too much oil, the
excess may be expelled through the pressurized
breather.
If your reservior has one sight glass/temperature
gage: The reservior should be filled to the center
of the sight glass on the side of the tank. Do not
over-fill. If the tank has too much oil, the excess
may be expelled through the pressurized breather.
