Fn Setting [Fn. setting]

When functions are registered in the Fn button,
each time the Fn button is pressed, you can set or
change the menu of registered function.
Setting
[Off]: No functions will be allocated to the button.
[INDEX]: (

To call up a registered function:
When the Fn button is pressed, menu setting
display of registered function will appear:
[Rec Mode]:
[PCM] [MP3]: The recording rate can be
configured for each file format.
[Rec Level]:
[Manual] [Auto]: You can configure whether to
adjust the recording level automatically or to
adjust it manually. When the [Rec Level] is set to
[Manual] you can configure the limiter function.
[Play Mode]:
[File] [File Repeat] [Folder]
[Folder Repeat] [All] [All Repeat]
[Equalizer]:
[Off] [ROCK] [POP] [JAZZ] [User]
Select [User] to save your own custom
equalizer settings.
[Property]:
File and folder information can be confirmed
from the menu screen.
[Light]:
[On] [Off]: By pressing the Fn button, you can
turn the backlight of the sub LCD on or off.
[Image Quality]:
The image quality (resolution) and recording
rate can be configured.
[Magic Movie]:
[On]:[ROCK] [POP] [PIN HOLE] [SKETCH]
[WATERCOLOR] [Off]
[White Balance]:
[Auto] [Sunny] [Cloudy] [Fluorescent]
[Incandescent] [Quick Operation]
[Exposure Comp.]:
You can adjust the exposure from [-2.0] to [+2.0]
in increments of 1/3.
[Reverse Angle Recording]:
[On] [Off]
If the Fn button is pressed during operation, the
registered function is performed:
[INDEX]:
With each press of the Fn button, an index mark
is added.
Notes
• When the registered function is [Rec Mode],
[Rec Level], [Image Quality], [Reverse Angle
Recording], [Magic Movie], [White Balance],
[Exposure Comp.] or [Property], these will
not function if the Fn button is pressed during
operation. While the recorder is during stop
mode, press the Fn button.
• The following functions can be used also when
the recorder is operating.
[Light], [INDEX]
• The following functions can also be used during
playback.
[Play Mode], [Equalizer]
