Notes
• Only a file that has been recorded or shot with
this recorder can be divided.
• In voice mode (
A), files cannot be divided if the
number of files will exceed 999.
• Locked files cannot be divided (
☞ P.76).
• When you divide a movie file, the dividing
position may be offset by up to approximately 1
second.
• After splitting the voice file, the front part of the
file will be renamed as [File name_1.MP3] and
the latter part of the file will be named as [File
name_2.MP3].
• After a file is divided, a new file number is
assigned to each of the movie files, and then
the files are saved to the [Edit] folder under
the [DCIM] folder. The original file is deleted
automatically.
• If a file has an extremely short recording time, it
may not be divided even if it is a PCM file.
• Do not remove the battery and SD card while
dividing a file. This may damage the data.
• To divide a voice file, the available space in the
SD card needs to be equivalent or greater than
the size of the file to be divided.
• A file cannot be divided in the [Edit] folder.
