Trimming files

Trimming mode will erase the beginning and the
end of the file.
The area that has been designated by the segment
repeat playback function will be left and the
beginning and the end part will be erased.
Follow the first three steps of the segment repeat
playback function procedure (
☞ P.57) to trim a file.
1 Press the
ERASE button during
segment repeat playback.
• ÛTrimmingÝ will appear on the display.
2 Press the + button to select [Start].
• If an action is not selected within 8 seconds,
the recorder will return to stop mode.

3 Press the
`OK button.
• [Being trimmed!] will be displayed on the
Main LCD, and trimming will start. When [Out
of the selected area is deleted] is displayed,
operation will be completed.
