Connections and Editing
Using the Optional SAV103
A / V Pack
The optional SAV103 A/V pack (shown on
page 58) lets you connect the camcorder to other
audio-visual equipment. Small and lightweight, it
comes in handy when traveling or any time you
are away from home.

A / V Pack
Detaching the A / V Pack
Slide the A/ V PACK EJECT release in the direction
of the arrow, and then pull the A / V pack straight
out.
Attaching the A / V Pack

Pull the A/V pack terminal cover of the
camcorder in the direction of the arrow as
shown below.
Note:
• Be careful not to lose the A/V pack terminal
cover once it is removed.

Align the projections on the A / V pack with
the openings on the camcorder’s mounting
panel, and insert the A / V pack as shown.
Then push the A / V pack firmly against the
mounting panel until it clicks into place.

Caution:
• Do not use the A / V pack as a handle. It will
cause malfunctions.
