Note
• Press the CANCEL button during recording to stop the interval (time-
lapse) recording.
• Normal picture taking is possible during interval (time-lapse) recording
by pressing the shutter release button. The preset time interval will not
change.
• The time interval may become longer than the preset interval,
depending on the image quality mode and flash mode settings.
• If using the battery, the battery may become exhausted during interval
(time-lapse) recording. It is recommended to use the optional AC
adapter.
Soft Mode
Recording the plane images such as a face of a person, a sky and a wall in soft
mode makes the contours soft.

Set the mode dial to [

press the MENU button.

Select [SOFT MODE].

Select [ON] and select [OK].
D
Select [EXIT] to exit the menu display.

Press the shutter release button.
