Installation
ADSL WAN module replacement
The following sections describe how to replace the ADSL WAN module in a Business Services
Gateway 12-port (BSG12aw).

Prerequisites to ADSL WAN module replacement
• If the system is still operating, perform the procedure “Shutting down the BSG8ew/12ew/
aw/tw” on page 63 .
• Obtain an ADSL WAN Replacement Module (NT5S21ZCE6) for the BSG12aw from
Nortel.
• Ensure you have the following items available:
— an antistatic wrist grounding strap
— a Phillips screwdriver
— grounding source
Saving the running configuration to Flash using the WebUI
Use this procedure to save the running configuration using the WebUI.
Procedure steps
Step Action
1 From the BSG12aw logon page, log on using the user ID and password.
2 From the left-hand navigation panel, select Administration, Configuration
File, Save.
3 Click Apply.

You must wear an antistatic grounding strap at all times when handling
electronic components. Failure to do so can result in damage to the equipment.
