Advanced Options:
Feed Delay
The feed delay option allows you to insert a "pause" be-
tween envelope feeds. In other words, the delay increases
the gap between envelopes as they exit the printer. The
pause allows you to check print quality or lessen the pos-
sibility of jams as printed envelopes are stacking. The de-
lay also allows for more print drying time, especially when
you are running coated stock or using the stacker option.
You can enter a feed delay value of 0 (no feed delay) up to
600 milliseconds (maximum delay). The default (normal)
value is 0. Click OK to confirm your selection.
Whenever you change the feed delay value, we recom-
mend you run test envelopes to assure proper feeding and
satisfactory envelope drying.
