To set the Provider MTU size:
1. In the navigation bar, select System.
2. In the System menu, select Set Link.
3. Enter the Provider MTU size.
4. Press Submit.
Enabling SNMP
The 6400-S can be managed remotely by an SNMP network management
system such as HP Openview. The 6400-S supports SNMPv1 and MIB-II
(RFC1213). All MIB-II variables are read only. The MIB variables sysContact
and sysLocation are set by the web GUI.
To enable SNMP:
1. In the Navigation bar, select System.
Caution When manually configuring the MTU size we recommend that you use a setting of
800 bytes or greater. You may experience problems with certain types of VoIP
traffic if the MTU size is set below 800 bytes.
