RS-232 Serial Data Interfaces
The Powerware 9150 is designed to fully comply with LanSafe III/
FailSafe III Power Management Software and OnliNet
9
Strategic Power
Management Software. If any other software is used, the pin
configuration should be verified.
The RS-232 interfaces use 9-pin, D-sub connectors. The information
includes data about the utility, the load, and the UPS.
NOTE The RS-232 interface must not be connected to any utility connected circuits.
Reinforced insulation to the utility is required. The communications equipment and the
UPS should be properly grounded before connecting or disconnecting a communication
cable.
