Note: Display indicators help you manage your roaming charges by letting
you know when you’re off the nationwide Sprint PCS network and whether
you’re operating in digital mode. (For more information, see Section 2D:
Controlling Your Roaming Experience on page 99.)

Congratulations on the purchase of your Sprint Power Vision
Multimedia Phone. The MM-9000 by Sanyo is easy-to-use and
reliable, and it also offers many significant features and service
options. The following list previews some of those features and
provides page numbers where you can find out more:
ⅷ Sprint Power Vision, utilizing the next generation of
wireless data transfer technology, provides high-speed,
high-capacity access to the wireless Internet (page 315).
ⅷ Sprint PCS Vision SM provides access to the wireless Internet
in digital mode (page 289).
ⅷ Sprint PCS Mail (page 298), Text SMS (page 278) and Voice
SMS Messaging (page 282) provide quick and convenient
messaging capabilities.
ⅷ Sprint PCS Voice Command SM lets you dial phone numbers
by speaking someone’s name or the digits of their phone
number (page 327).
