Setting Your Phone’s Roam Mode
Your Sprint PCS Phone allows you to control your roaming
capabilities. By using the Roaming menu option, you can
determine which signals your phone accepts.
Set Mode
Choose from three different settings on your multimedia
phone to control your roaming experience.
To set your phone’s roam mode:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Roaming ( ).
4. Select Set Mode.
5. Select an option from the following.
Ⅲ Sprint Only allows you to access the nationwide
Sprint PCS network only and prevents roaming on
other networks.
Ⅲ Automatic seeks Sprint PCS Service. When Sprint PCS
Service is unavailable, the phone searches for an
alternate system.
Ⅲ Roaming Only forces the phone to seek a digital
roaming system. The previous setting (Sprint Only or
Automatic) is restored the next time the phone is
turned on.
