Insert the document face down in the
document feeder. The top edge of the
document should enter the feeder first.
•
READY TO SEND will appear in the
display.

Adjust the resolution and/or contrast settings as explained on page 40,
then dial the receiving machine as explained on page 43.
Removing a document from the feeder
If you need to remove a document from the feeder, open the operation panel.
Important!
Do not try to remove a document without opening the operation panel. This
may damage the feeder mechanism.

Open the operation panel.

Remove the document.

Close the operation panel, pressing
down firmly on both front corners to
make sure it clicks into place.
