4.1 Procedure
Steps
The following steps are necessary to operate connections on the SIMATIC S7 PLC
with the Ethernet CP:
Program the
SEND/RECEIVE interface in
the user program.
(Refer to Section 3.2 and the
detailed FC description in
Chapter 5).
Programming
Create new
connections If necessary,
configure “Other
Station” for
connections using the
appropriate tool.
Download connection configurations
to the CP
Configure connection
properties.
