Call Answer Mode
This feature allows you to select how to answer incoming calls
on your phone: whether you want to be required to press
,
to press any number key, or simply to open the phone.
1.
Select
> Settings > More... > Call Setup > Call Answer
.
2.
Select Talk Key, Any Key, or Flip Open.
Setting Abbreviated Dialing
To activate Contacts Match feature:
1.
Select
> Settings > More... > Call Setup
.
2.
Select Contacts Match > On.

To deactivate this feature, select Off.
Note: Contacts Match does not apply when entering 411 or 911.
To set your prepend number:
1.
Follow step 1 above.
2.
Select Abbrev. Dial > Prepend > On.

To deactivate this feature, select Off.
3.
Enter the first five- or six- digit prefix in the Prepend# field,
(for example, an area code and prefix) and press
(left
softkey).
Tip: To make an Abbreviated Dial call, see “Using Abbreviated Dialing” on
page 23.
