Setting the Text Entry Options

> Settings >Text Entry

Select an option and press .

to set the auto-capital on or off.

to set the auto-space on or off after T9
words you enter.

Input Language
to select the language (English or
French).

to add a word to or edit a word in the T9
database (see page 26).

to customize the T9 settings (see page 26).

Default Input
to select T9 word, Alphabet, or Retain Mode
for the initial entry mode. Set Retain Mode to retain the
previous entry mode (see page 28).

Add Word
to store words that you use frequently
(see page 25).
Ⅲ Auto-Complete
to automatically display words that may
follow the current text input.

Auto Answer Mode
This feature sets the phone to automatically pick up incoming
calls in speakerphone mode or hands-free mode (when
connected).

> Settings > More... > Call Setup > Auto-Answer
.

Select Hands-free or Speakerphone.
3.
Select 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds, or Off.
