Tip: You can also place calls from your phone by using speed dialing (page 22),
your History listings (page 63), and by using Automatic Speech Recognition
(ASR, page 92).
To redial your most recent call, press
twice.
To place a call with the phone closed:
1.
Make sure your phone is on and the Side Key Guard feature
is disabled. (See “Setting Side Key Guard” on page 50.)
2.
Press and hold the side call key (
) on the right side of the
phone.
3.
Follow the system prompts. (See “Using Automatic Speech
Recognition (ASR)” on page 91.)
To redial with the phone closed:
1.
Press the side end key (
). Recent call history appears on
the outer screen.
2.
Use the side volume key (
) to highlight a recent call entry
you would like to redial.
3.
Press .
Dialing Options
Dialing options are displayed when you press
(right
softkey) after entering numbers in standby mode.

Abbrev. Dial
to use the Abbreviated Dialing feature.

to dial the phone number in speakerphone
mode.

Save
to save the phone number in your Contacts.
