Connecting the base station to a PABX

The following settings are only needed when your PABX requires them, please refer to

the operating instructions for your PABX.

Dialling modes and and recall

The current setting is indicated by

1. Step 2: Changing the dialling mode

The following dialling modes can be set:

Tone dialling (DTMF),

Dial pulsing (DP).

Storing the access code (outside line code)

Precondition: Your PABX requires you to enter an access code before the telephone

number when making an external call, e. g. "0".

Access Code

The access code will be automatically inserted before any of the numbers chosen from

the calls list.
If you have stored an access code, the following will apply:

For emergency numbers, SMS service centre numbers and dialling from the calls list

the access code is inserted automatically.

For telephone numbers from the directory or network access list, you have to add

the access code yourself.

You cannot send or receive text messages on PABXs that do not support

Calling Line Identification.

Select and confirm a dialling mode (highlighted

with

Long press (back to idle status).

Enter or change the access code (maximum 3 digits)

and press the display key.

Save Entry

Confirm. The entry is stored.
