Making sure the black pin on the back of the lamp cover goes into the
hole on the TV, put the cover back on. Slide the knob to the right until v
matches V, and then tighten the screw.

Reattach the Front Panel Cover securely and tighten the two screws
underneath the cover.

If the lamp cover screw is inserted incorrectly, the lamp may not
operate properly. In such a case, remove the screw, insert it
correctly and then tighten the screw completely.

If the lamp cover is not reattached securely, the self-diagnostic
function may be triggered and the POWER/STANDBY indicator
flashes three times (see page 137).

Consult your Sony dealer for a Sony XL-5000 replacement lamp.

Take great care when replacing the lamp or plugging in/unplugging
the connecting cords. Rough handling may cause the SXRD
projection TV to fall, damaging the TV, the TV stand and/or the floor.
The pin is on the back of the
lamp cover. Gently push the
cover until the pin locks into
place.
