SA-DV6000 allows up to a maximum of 10 clients to be connected at the same time via a network for viewing streaming data. If th

client is a media server or equivalent, more clients can view streaming data via the server

Configure the VTR as follows:

DHCP
must be OFF

The WLAN
AD HOC Mode must be OFF
.
●
The WLAN ESS ID, WLAN CH, and WEP
encryption key must match the access point
●
If clients will be connecting through an Intranet or the Internet, consult you IT department and request a IP address for the
VTR.
●
VTR and Client PC are set the same domain and dif
ferent IP
addresses.

xy Settings
It is necessary to select whether to use a proxy server or not depending on the network environment.
To
determine if you are using a proxy server
.
1.
From Internet Explorer
, click on the ‘T
ools’
in the menu bar
,
and then click on ‘Internet Options’.
2.
From the window that opens, click on the ‘Connections’ tab.
3.
From the ‘Connections’
window
, click on the ‘LAN Settings’
button.
4.
If
‘Use a proxy server
’ is checked in the window that opens,
then you use a proxy server to access the Internet.
●
If this is not checked, then you don’t use a proxy server
,
and your configuration is complete.
5.
Click on the ‘Advanced’
button.
6.
In the ‘Exceptions’
box of the window that opens, enter the
first portion of the VTR IP
address followed by
.‘*.*’
For ex-
ample, the IP address of a VTR may be 192.168.100.101, so
192.168.*.* has been entered
7.
Click
‘OK’
in all open windows.
