4.1.11 Scanning

Channels

Press the Busy Scan, Priority Scan or Selected Priority Scan key (default:

short press scan key) to turn on scan. The Scan icon (

) is displayed while scan is

active. All channels in the selected zone’s scan list will be scanned. While scan is on,
press the scan key to cancel scan. If MENU is pressed scan is canceled.

4.1.11.1 Busy

Scan

Busy scan will scan all channels in the
selected zone’s scan list. Any priority channel
assignments will be ignored.

4.1.11.2 Priority

Scan

Priority scan will scan all channels in the
selected zone’s scan list. The assigned high
and low priority channels will be used. While
scan is paused on a non-priority channel, the
priority channels will be checked for activity.

4.1.11.3 Selected Priority Scan

Selected priority scan will scan all channels in
the selected zone’s scan list. The selected
channel will be assigned and used as the high
priority channel. If a low priority channel has
been assigned it will also be used. While scan
is paused on a non-priority channel,
the priority channels will be checked
for activity.
