Specify the type of original to be scanned. Refer to page 5-10 “Book/Sheet modes” for
details.
Select [Book/Sheet] from the User Mode
menu. The book/sheet setting screen
appears.
Select [Book mode] when scanning a thick
original (books or dictionaries).
Select [OK] to return to the main menu.
Select [Sheet mode] when scanning a sheet
original (photograph, a single-page
document, solid surface, etc.).
Select [OK] to return to the main menu.
