Using Hands-free Features

Change from Handset Operation to
Hands-free Operation
If you are in a conversation and the handset is off
the hang-up cup and you want to switch to
hands-free operation, follow these instructions:
1. Press
/
to mute the phone.
2. Return the handset
to the hang-up cup.
You are now in hands-free operation. Direct
your conversation to the microphone.
or
1. Press
M
until you see
Turn Mute on or
off
.
2. Press
O
to select. You will see
Mute
.
3. Return the handset
to the hang-up cup.
You are now in hands-free operation. Direct
your conversation to the microphone.
Caution:
If you return the handset to the hang-up
cup without muting it first, your call will be ended.
