5.1 Clearing Document Jams
If a document jam occurs during feeding, follow the procedure below to remove the jammed
documents.
■ Removing jams from the hopper or the paper path
1. Remove the documents on the stacker.
CAUTION
- Be careful not to get injured
during jam removal.
- When removing jammed documents,
be careful not to get your neckties or
necklaces entangled inside the scanners.
- The surface of the glass sometimes
becomes hot during operation.
Take care not to get burned.
