(47) WRITE LOG EXT (X’3F’) [Optional command (Customize)]
• Description
This command writes data to the general-purpose log of a device. The general-
purpose log includes the extended SMART comprehensive error log, extended
self-test log, SMART selective self-test log, and other logs. However, some of
these logs are read-only logs. The types of logs available depend on the customize
operation. For information on the DRQ, INTRQ, and BSY protocols related to the
transfer of data, see Section 5.4.1.
