LVD SAFETY STATEMENTS
1. This apparatus must be installed and maintained by SERVICE PERSONNEL.
2. Power Rating Information

110V AC adaptor (atl part number 5500000038)
Input: 110Vac, 150mA, 50/60Hz
Output: -48VDC 170mA
240V AC adaptor (atl part number 5500000041)
Input: 230Vac, 90mA, 50/60Hz
Output: -48VDC 170mA
The mains plug on the PSU input serves as the disconnect device, therefore a socket outlet
shall be installed near the equipment and shall be made accessible.
3. A protective earth connection must be made to the rear panel earthing stud using a
suitable bonding conductor if any G.703 cable is routed through an external environment,
or reliable earth connection is not provided to the DC input connector.
9.2
SAFETY STATEMENTS
The optical interface is classified as a CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT.
The mains input connection has a HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE safety status.
The G.703 120
Ω Digital Network Interface Port has a safety status of EARTHED SELV.
The TERM Port has a safety status of UNEARTHED SELV.
The –48Vdc input to the unit is classified as TNV2.
