4.7 PCI Expansion Card Installation (Optional)

To install a PCI expansion card, please do the following.

Step 1:

Remove the back panel. See Section 4.4.

Step 2:

Install the PCI riser card. Insert the PCI riser card into the PCI slot on the

motherboard of the system. Secure the PCI riser card to the system with two

retention screws.

Step 3:

Remove the expansion slot cover. The expansion slot on the I/O panel

interface is secured to the system with a single retention screw. Remove the

screw.
