The camera

does not take

a picture

when I press

the Shutter

button.

You did not

press the

Shutter

button

hard enough.

Press the

Shutter

button all the

way down.

The memory

card is not

installed.

Install the memory card.

The memory

card is full.

Unload images from the camera

to your computer, then delete all

images on the memory card. Or

replace the card with a new one.

The memory

card is locked.

Switch the locking tab on the

memory card to the unlocked

position.

The flash is

recharging.

Wait until the flash has recharged

before taking another picture.

The camera is

set to

MACRO

focus and

cannot take a

picture until it

finds focus.

Re-focus the camera (try using

Focus Lock

, page 26).

Make sure the subject of the

picture is within the Macro

(close-up) range (page 36).

The camera is

still saving the

last picture

you took.

Wait a few seconds for the

camera to finish processing the

last image before taking another

picture.
