Camera Dock
Getting Started with the Dock
The optional HP Photosmart 8881 camera dock allows you to
easily unload images to your computer, print images directly to
a printer, and display images and video clips on a television
(TV). In addition, if you have rechargeable batteries in the
camera (provided in the box with the camera dock), they will
be recharged anytime the camera is in the camera dock.
1 Follow the instructions on the Setup poster that was
packaged with the camera dock. These steps include:
• Attaching the dock insert that was in your camera box to the top
of the camera dock.
• Installing rechargeable NiMH batteries in your camera.
• Connecting the AC power source to the dock.
• Connecting the dock to a computer, printer, and/or television.
NOTE The first time that you use the rechargeable batteries,
be sure that you fully charge them in the camera before
using the camera. It may take up to 15 hours to fully
charge the batteries.
