Follow these steps:
1. From the Standby mode, press the center of the cursor key to display
the top menu.

5. Highlight Battery Save and press .

Setting the Backlight When Using E-mail, Web and Java
Set whether to have the backlight on continuously while using e-mail,
the web, and JAVA applications.
