Note:

Initially, the factory default router IP address is 1.1.1.1. To view the current IP

address, navigate to the Ethernet Configuration Menu and view the screen display.

See the “Configuration Menu” section for information on viewing and changing the

router IP address.

4. Specify the directory location on the computer or network where the FTP

program will store the trace file.

5. Enter the user name and password.

The factory default user name is

root

and the default password is

password

6. Specify Bin mode:

bin

7. Enter the appropriate command to copy the current or previous trace buffer:

To copy the current trace buffer:

get curtrace.txt

■

The file will transfer from the router.

■

To copy the previous trace buffer:

get prvtrace.txt

■

The file will transfer from the router.
