COOLING SYSTEM INDICATOR
TAKING CARE OF
UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
Water should flow from the cooling
system indicator while the engine is
running. This shows that water is
circulating through the cooling
system.
If water stops flowing while the
engine is running, it indicates a
cooling system problem, such as
clogged water intakes, which will
cause engine overheating.
The cooling system indicator
discharge port can also become
plugged.
When the alert triggers, the overheat
indicator comes on and the buzzer
sounds a steady tone as the engine
speed is reduced to 1,800 rpm. If the
condition persists for another 20
seconds, the engine shuts off. Refer

All models are equipped with a
buzzer that sounds continuously
when the red light comes on.
Engine overheating may be the result
of clogged water intakes.
