Operating
Most of operations are effective for the main area
only. Also the audio input signal paired with the
picture input signal for the main area is assigned
as the audio output signal. The main area can be
changed using the cursor buttons ◄/► when the
setting information is on the screen.
PbyP (Picture by Picture)
The
PbyP is a function to display two different picture signals on a screen that is
split in two areas for each signal. Some of functions can be used with the same
operation as it for the normal mode (not in the
PbyP mode). There are some
operations available only in the
PbyP mode.
The setting information is displayed for several
seconds when the
PbyP function is started. It shows
the input signal information for each area. Also, there
will be a yellow frame with one of the area that is the main area where most
of operations are effective. The information can be displayed using the cursor
buttons ▲/▼/◄/► when the setting information is not on the screen.
Press the PbyP button on the
remote control, then the
PbyP
function will be started. To quit
the
PbyP mode, press the button
again.
Press the COMPUTER, VIDEO or DIGITAL button
while in the
PbyP mode, the menu to select the
input signal will be appeared. Choose a signal using
the cursor buttons ▲/▼. If you want to change the signal in
the sub area, switch the main area using the cursor buttons
◄/► first. Displaying the same signal on the both areas is
not allowed. For other combinations of the input signal, refer
to the right table. Any combinations marked with X can not be
selected.
Press the MY BUTTON assigned the
PbyP SWAP
(
49). The position of the both area is exchanged
without any setting change.
