2. Press the button until Settings appears on the
monitor, then press the SEL button. Icons for each
setting appear on the screen, with the clock icon
highlighted in orange.
3. Press the button to select the Power Cont;
then press the SEL button to select Save or Norm.
The current selection is highlighted.
In Save mode:
The LCD monitor turns off automatically right
after you take a picture when the camera’s dial
switch is set to View.
In Norm mode:
The LCD monitor turns off automatically after 30
seconds of image processing when the camera’s
dial switch is set to View.
To turn the LCD monitor back on, press the
shutter button, or turn the camera’s dial switch to
Off
, then back to On.
4. Press the ESC button twice to save your setting
and exit the menus.
Selecting the language
Depending on the country of purchase, you
can choose English, Japanese, French,
German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish as
the language used to display camera
information on the LCD monitor.
1. Turn the camera’s dial switch to Play and press
the SEL button.
2. Press the button until Language appears on
the monitor. The current setting is highlighted.
3. To select a different language, press the SEL
button until the language you want is
highlighted.
4. Press ESC to exit the menu.
