When you are finished making the setting, take
your fingers off the buttons.
Note:

To see the value for the exposure setting on the display
panel, press the shutter button halfway down.
❏
Experience and knowledge of photography is necessary
to correctly adjust exposure. Make sure your exposure
adjustment setting is correct when taking important
photos.
❏
When the conditions for photography are not very
good, EPSON recommends taking several photos of the
same object using different exposures.
❏
The exposure setting is kept in the camera’s memory
even when the camera is turned off.
❏
To change the exposure value when the dial switch is
in the On position, while holding down the Function
and Mode buttons, press the
or
button.
Adjusting the Sensitivity
The camera’s sensitivity is set to Std. by
default, which means the camera’s sensitivity
is standardized automatically.
Set the sensitivity to High when:
❏
Taking photos while moving fast (useful for in-
door sports).
❏
Taking photos in the dark without a flash (where
a flash is prohibited).
❏
Taking photos in the distance with a flash.
EPSON recommends setting sensitivity to Std. at all
other times, as image quality is lower when set to
High
.
1.
Turn the dial switch on the camera to View.
2.
Press the SEL button. Three menu icons appear on
the top of the LCD monitor.
3.
Highlight the conditions icon
using the
button, then press the SEL button.
