Indicator lights
The camera has an indicator light beside the viewfinder. It
turns on and blinks in different colors to guide you through
the picture-taking process, or to indicate the status of the
camera. See below for details.

Green (On)
The camera is warmed up and ready for
taking pictures.
Green
(Blinking)
The camera is warming up
(immediately after camera is turned
on).
The camera is auto focussing
(when shutter button is pressed
halfway).
The camera is changing the settings.
The camera is processing an image.
The camera is communicating with the
computer.
The flash is warming up.
Orange (On)
The LCD monitor has turned off
automatically to save power.
Orange
(Blinking)
The camera is on and connected to the
computer.
The camera has automatically shut off
to save power.
