Icons That Appear on the LCD
Monitor
A variety of icons appear on the LCD monitor at different
times to help you use your camera, and to inform you of the
camera’s status.
See the following sections for information on the icons that
appear when you take pictures and make settings, and when
the camera needs help.
Note:
You can turn off the icon display when taking or viewing pictures
by pressing the MENU button.
When Taking Pictures
When you turn the camera on to take pictures with the LCD
monitor, a red tool box
appears on the bottom right of the
monitor. This tool box contains many “tools,” or icons that
represent certain camera features. To open the tool box and
use these features, press the
button. The icons appear,
along with a bag that contains even more icons.
