3.1.2 Electrical Characteristics
Under normal conditions, the LSI21040 maximum power requirement
that includes SCSI TERMPWR is: +5 V DC,
±
5%, 3.0 A, and over the
operating range 0
°
C to 55
°
C.
Under abnormal conditions, such as a short on SCSI TERMPWR, +5 V
current may be higher. At temperatures of at least 25
°
C, a current of 4 A
is sustained no longer than 30 seconds before the self-resetting
TERMPWR short circuit protection device (F1) opens.
The PCI
PRSNT1/
and
PRSNT2/
pins are set to indicate a 15 W maximum
configuration.
