Changing the
management code

Changes the management code that is used by the copy
manager.
IMPORTANT:
* If you change the management code from its factory

default, be sure to keep some sort of record of the new
management code. If, for any reason, you forget the
registered management code, you will need to contact your
service representative.

Auto sleep ON/OFF

Sets whether or not to have the auto sleep function
automatically turn the power switch OFF a certain amount
of time after copying, or if no operation has been performed
on the copier during that time.
* If auto sleep interferes with your copying operations, turn

this function OFF. However, it is recommended that you
try to set a longer time interval until auto sleep engages
before you actually turn it OFF.

Color/B&W Mix
[Colour/B&W Mix]

Sets the priority mode when copying a document that mixes
color and monochrome
Color priority:
Color copy cyan, magenta, yellow, and black mechanisms are
operated, regardless of original type. Use this setting to give
precedence to copy speed.
B&W priority:
Only the black mechanism is operated when making black
and white copies.

High Density Print

Sets the priority mode for continuous copying of high-density
documents.
Fast Mode:

Puts priority on copy speed.

Quality Mode:

Puts priority on copy quality. Copy
speed is slower.

High Quality Mode: Punts maximum priority on copy

quality for printing photographs and
other high-density documents. Copy
speed is even slower than with the
“Quality Mode” setting.
