Add New Alert
NOTE: This feature is provided in the event that the National Weather Service and
the authorities decide to add any new alert messages in the future. However at
this moment your CKW2000 is capable of receiving all of the current NWR alerts.
If future alerts are established, you may contact Emerson Radio Customer Service
for detailed instructions for adding new alerts to this radio.
Siren Test
To confirm that the siren in your CKW2000 is working properly:
• With the radio ‘off’ press the MENU button, then press the Navigation button
once.
The display shows “SIREN TEST”.
• Press the SELECT button to activate the siren and confirm that it is working
properly.
• Press the MENU button to cancel the siren test and return to the Time and Date
display.
