Once you have obtained your county’s SAME# from the website or by phone,
enter that number, or numbers, in the CKW2000 as follows:
1.) If the radio is ‘On’, press the POWER button to turn the radio ‘Off’.
2.) Press the MENU button to enter the Menu mode.
3.) Press the Navigation button three (3) times
until the LCD is showing:
“COUNTY CODE – MULTIPLE”
The Multiple county mode is the factory
default setting.
4.) Press the SELECT button. The “MULTIPLE”
indicator begins ‘flashing’.
Press the Navigation button to change
the selection from MULTIPLE > ALL >
SINGLE > MULTIPLE,etc.
5.) When the SINGLE indicator is flashing, press
the SELECT button again to confirm that you
want to program just one Single SAME code
for your specific county.
The display will show “CODE 01 000000” and
the “01” indicator will be flashing.
6.) Press the RIGHT Navigation button to
move the cursor to the first “0”. The “0” begins
flashing. Press the or Navigation buttons
to select the first digit of your SAME#.
7.) When the desired number is flashing press the RIGHT Navigation button to
move the cursor to the second “0”, then press the or Navigation buttons
to select the second digit of your SAME#.
8.) Repeat Step 7 until you have entered all 6
digits of the desired SAME#, then press the
MENU button to confirm your selection and
return to the correct TIME and DATE display.
A SINGLE COUNTY indicator will remain in
the bottom of the display window.
