To set up the radio to receive your local weather station:
1.) Fully extend the telescoping rod antenna. This
antenna is only for the weather channel
reception.
2.) Press the WEATHER/HAZARD button.
The LCD will show the Time and Date display
and “WB – CH 1” indicating that the radio is
receiving weather channel #1.
If you are receiving a strong, clear signal on
channel #1, there is noting else to do.
Every time you press the WEATHER/HAZARD button your radio will tune to
weather channel #1. If you are listening to an AM or FM station when you press
the WEATHER/HAZARD button the radio will automatically switch to the weather
channel.
3.) If you receive a weak signal or no signal on
channel #1, press the MENU button to access

Navigation button two (2) times until the
display shows “SETUP WEATHER CH 1”
4.) Press the SELECT button once. The CH “1”
indicator begins flashing.
5.) Press the Navigation button slowly to advance the weather channel from #1
to #2 to #3 and so on. When you hear the clearest, strongest broadcast you
have found the station that is covering your geographic area.
Press the SELECT button again to make that your default station. Once this is
done whenever you press the WEATHER/HAZARD button your radio will
automatically tune to that station.
