Connects or disconnects the PC card (PCMCIA). When this button is
clicked, this unit confirms the connecting condition of the PC card, and
connects the PC card when the PC card is disconnected, or disconnects
it when it is connected.
• Connecting operation
After inserting the PC card into the slot of this unit, click the ( )
button. The connecting operation is automatically performed with the
plug and play function.
• Disconnecting operation
The unit stops the PC card function and disconnect the PC card. The
operation in the PC card (PCMCIA) properties window is not required.
When the screen of disconnecting disappears, remove the PC card.
o Long-Run setting
By setting the function range of CPU of this unit, you can decrease the
power consumption and prolong the using time of the battery pack.
The CPU functions within the upper value and the lower value.
After setting it, click the Save the user mode to save the items of
“LongRun” in “Power Management Setting” described before. If you do
not save the setting, the unit functions in the CPU speed previously set
in “LongRun” of “Power Management Setting” when you restart the unit.
Click to display the upper value and lower value you specified.
When you click the displayed value, the display is switched between
the CPU speed and the voltage.
