Problems Following Restoration of the System
FIVA Malfunction
Symptom
Standard bundled applications do
not work.
Screen fonts are too small.
Wallpaper is different.
Recommended Action
Some of the bundled applications are not re-
installed when you restore the system. Use
the “Product Recovery CD-ROM” to reinstall
all the applications.
Use Display Properties to change display
font size settings.
Use Display Properties to change the
wallpaper setting.
Symptom
FIVA is emitting smoke and heat.
You don’t know what to do.
FIVA malfunction
Recommended Action
Immediately turn off power and unplug the
AC adaptor from the wall outlet.
Contact your authorized distributor. Have the
following information on hand.
• Product name and model number
• Date of purchase
• Current status and the names of
applications being used
