5. The setup is performed automatically and after that, the Windows
Me restarts automatically.
6. Type in your user name and password.
Type in your user name and password. If you do not input in the
name and password, this screen will not appear when you start up
Windows Me. Type the user name and then press
Tab to move the
cursor to the password text box. As you type your password, an
asterisk appears in the textbox for every character you type. After
you input the password, click the OK button.
Type your password once again into the “Confirm new password”
box for confirmation. Once again, an asterisk appears in the textbox
for every character you type. After you type in all the characters,
click the OK button. You will need to input your user name and
password each time you start up Windows Me.
