AHCI Mode

Set to AHCI mode when you want the SATA
hard disk drives to use the AHCI (Advanced
Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the
onboard storage driver to enable advanced SATA
features that increases storage performance or
workloads where multiple simultaneous read/
write requests are outstanding, most often
occurring in server-type applications (native
command queuing). It also facilitates hot
swapping.

RAID

Set to the RAID mode when you want to create
a RAID configuration from the SATA Hard disk
drives. Thie chipset supports software RAID

by

using the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager

ISRT Support

Intel smart response technology (ISRT) Technology

accelerates system boot speed and increases overall

PC performance. System Requirements: For a system to

support Intel Smart Response Technology it must have
