Creating a new directory
Move the highlight in the left window to the directory in which you
want to create a subdirectory
NEW (enter the new directory name)
Press the
ENT key
DIRECTORY \CREATE NEW ?
Press the
YES soft key to confirm, or
the
NO soft key to abort.
Creating a new file
Select the directory in which you wish to create the new file.
NEW Enter the new file name with the file
extension, and confirm with
ENT, or
Open a dialog to create a new file,
NEW Enter the
new file name with the file extension, and confirm
with
ENT.
Copying a single file
Move the highlight to the file you wish to copy
Press the
COPY soft key: Select the copying
function. The TNC opens a pop-up window
Enter the name of the destination file and confirm
your entry with the
ENT key or the OK soft key:
The TNC copies the file into the active directory or
into the selected target directory. The original file
is retained, or
Press the Target Directory soft key to call a pop-
up window in which you select the target directory
by pressing the
ENT key or the OK soft key: the
TNC copies the file to the selected directory. The
original file is retained.
When the copying process has been started with
ENT or the OK soft key, the TNC displays a pop-up
window with a progress indicator.
