4.2 Adding Comments
Application
You can add comments to a part program to explain program steps or
make general notes.
Entering a comment in a separate block
U Select the block after which the comment is to be inserted
U Press the SPEC FCT key to select the special functions
U Select the program functions: Press the PROGRAM FUNCTIONS

U Shift the soft-key row to the left
U Press the INSERT COMMENT soft key
U Enter your comment using the screen keyboard (see "Screen
Keyboard" on page 112) and conclude the block by pressing the END
key
Functions for editing of the comment
Enter the file name using the screen keyboard (see
"Screen Keyboard" on page 112).
If the TNC cannot show the entire comment on the
screen, the >> sign is displayed.
The last character in a comment block must not have any
tilde (~).
If you have connected a PC keyboard to the USB
interface, you can insert a comment block by simply
pressing the ; key on the PC keyboard.

Jump to end of comment.
Jump to the beginning of a word. Words must be
separated by a space
Jump to the end of a word. Words must be
separated by a space
Switch between insert mode and overwrite
mode
