OPTIONS for
FILESYSTEM-
TYPE=nfs
Data without spaces, separated by commas,
and written in sequence. Switch between
upper and lower case letters.
RSIZE=
: Packet size in bytes for data reception.
Input range: 512 to 8192
WSIZE=
: Packet size in bytes for data
transmission. Input range: 512 to 8192
TIME0=
: Time in tenths of a second, after which
the TNC repeats a Remote Procedure Call not
answered by the server. Input range: 0 to 100
000. If there is no entry, the standard value 7 is
used. Use higher values only if the TNC must
communicate with the server through several
routers. Ask your network specialist for the
proper value.
SOFT=
: Definition of whether the TNC should
repeat the Remote Procedure Call until the NFS
server answers.
“soft” entered: Do not repeat the Remote
Procedure Call.
“soft” not entered: Always repeat the Remote
Procedure Call.

Definition of whether the TNC upon switch-on
should automatically connect with the network
drive.
0: Do not automatically connect
1: Connect automatically
The entries USERNAME, WORKGROUP and PASSWORD in the
OPTIONS column may not be necessary in Windows 95
and Windows 98 networks.
With the ENCODE PASSWORD soft key, you can encode
the password defined under OPTIONS.
