Brake Pedal

Depress the brake pedal to

slow or stop the vehicle.

Apply the brakes while start-

ing the engine.

Throttle Pedal

Push the pedal down to

increase engine speed.

Spring pressure returns the

pedal to the rest position

when released. Always

check that the throttle pedal

returns normally before start-

ing the engine. Make sure

there's adequate throttle

pedal freeplay. See page 104

for throttle pedal adjustment

procedures.
